One of the most sought-after Kapamilya young stars Nadine Lustre shared her reaction to FHM’s poll after she recently got the top spot of the magazine’s “sexiest woman.”
The magazine recently revealed the “On The Wings Of Love” star in the first place according to partial votes online.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Nadine Lustre said that she did not expect the result, noting that she was in the 50-plus place last year.
“Hindi ko po talaga in-expect kasi 50-plus ako last year and then ngayon nag nine, then eight, tapos one. Sabi ko, joke ba ito? Hindi po ako makapaniwala until FHM posted na number one nga,” she said.
Nadine Lustre added that even if she will not win the poll, she is certain that the winner is truly deserving of the title.
In the episode aired on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on Monday, Nadine Lustre said that she is not yet open to wearing two-piece in public.
She also denied the reports that her boyfriend James Reid is not happy about the results. According to the 22-year-old actress, Reid was actually glad about the result.
Meanwhile, the couple is now gearing for their upcoming television series that will be produced by Dreamscape. The still untitled series is expected to be released soon.
The series will mark their second television series after the now-defunct top-rating “On The Wings Of Love.”
