The incoming Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte and her younger brother, Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, ran into each other at the Mactan-Cebu International airport while waiting for their departing flights.
During the meeting between Sara Duterte and her younger brother Basted Duterte they shared laughs about the heightened attention they are now receiving as members of the First Family.
Although the two children of Pres. Rody Duterte did not grant an interview with the media, the incoming Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte thanked those who congratulated her father during the thanksgiving party in Cebu City.
Baste Duterte took a flight back to Davao City after attending the victory party of his father in Cebu City while Sara Duterte refused to give details on her next flight schedules after attending the same party with her brother.
Inday Sara Duterte made headlines during the national election period when she shaved her head to show her support to her father’s presidential bid. She and her mother, Elizabeth Zimmerman, also embarked on a bus tour to drum up support for Duterte’s candidacy.
