Get ready for the “The Voice Kids” third season this May.
“The Voice Kids Season 3” is set to return to television on May 28. On Monday, ABS-CBN released the first teaser of the popular singing competition.
Earlier, it was announced that the veteran actress and singer Sharon Cuneta will join the show, replacing the Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo.
Sharon Cuneta will be part of the show’s coaches along with Tony award-winning singer Lea Salonga and Filipino rock icon Bamboo Manalac.
Sarah Geronimo recently announced that she will be leaving the show to focus on the Sunday variety show “ASAP.”
She also said that she is sure people will like the person who will replace her in the top-rating show.
“Whoever comes in, I’m 100% sure na magugustuhan ng mga tao kung sino man yung uupo dun sa red chair. Magugustuhan nila coach Lea (Salonga),” she said.
While Sarah Geronimo did not give the exact date when he will be coming back for the show, she hinted that she might come back on the next season.
The first winner of “The Voice Kids” season 1 is Lyca Gairanod from the team of Geronimo, while the second winner Elha Nympha came from Team Bamboo.
“The Voice Kids Philippines” is the local franchise of Dutch singing competition “The Voice” of ABS-CBN. It debuted on May 24, 2014.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN has yet to give further details about the third season of “The Voice of the Philippines.”
