‘Pepsi Paloma’ Star Rhed Bustamante Lands New Endorsement

Rhed Bustamante, the former child star who recently gained attention for her role in the controversial Pepsi Paloma film, has secured a new endorsement deal with the beauty milk brand Dear Face. The brand’s founder, Jonah Sison-Ramos, was captivated by Rhed’s story of resilience, leading her to choose the actress as one of the faces of the brand.

“Nakita ko si Rhed through her new movie. I scrolled the comments, and I’m fond of people who are bouncing back. It means a lot of resilience to me,” Sison-Ramos shared during Rhed’s launch as Dear Face’s newest ambassador at an event in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Sison-Ramos, who built Dear Face during the COVID-19 pandemic after her previous brand, Skin Potions, was forced to close, said she resonated with Rhed’s journey. She believes that both her brand and Rhed share a common story of perseverance and determination in the face of challenges.

For Rhed, the endorsement is a significant milestone in her career revival. However, she remained tight-lipped when asked about Darryl Yap’s controversial film The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma, where she plays the titular character. The movie has sparked discussions since its announcement but Rhed preferred to keep the focus on her new projects.

“It feels great po and I’m grateful na may opportunity,” Rhed said, expressing her appreciation for the endorsement deal and her growing career opportunities.

Apart from acting, Rhed is also dedicated to her education. She is currently in her final year of senior high school, taking the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand. Juggling academics and her return to showbiz has been a challenge, but she remains committed to excelling in both.

In addition to her endorsement, Rhed is set to star in an upcoming TV5 series, where she will portray the younger version of Ryza Cenon’s character. While she has yet to disclose details about other projects, it’s clear that her career is on an upward trajectory.

With her resilience and determination, Rhed Bustamante is proving that setbacks are just stepping stones to greater success.
