Following the controversial issues squeezing Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach to Dr. Mike Varshavski, she finally answered the question when asked if she is dating the “Sexiest Doctor Alive.”
“I’ve dogged this question in a lot of interiews for you,” she told host Boy Abunda in an episode of “Tonight with Boy Abunda” when asked to confirm the speculations.
On Thursday, the 26-year-old Wurtzbach admitted that she is being courted by Varshavski, however, wants him to get use to the Filipino tradition of courtship.
The Miss Universe 2015 revealed that Varshavski is adjusting to the Filipino ways a lot because of his different culture. She also said that she had to explain to him how different courting is in the Philippines.
Varshavski was dubbed as the “Sexiest Doctor Alive” following his feature in the People’s Magazine 2015.
Wurtzbach also added that the doctor is very understanding about her situation while prioritizing her duties as the reigning Miss Universe.
“I assure you guys, masakit sa kanya pero sinabi ko talaga sa kanya na ito ang number one priority ko,” she explained while pointing to her sash.
She revealed also that Varshavski wants to visit the country someday, referring to him as a “true gentleman.”
The Russian-born doctor who works at the Overlook Medical Center in New Jersey, last month took to social media revealing that she is in a “fairly new relationship” with the Filipina beauty queen.
Varshavski reportedly said that he is actively looking for a serious relationship and admitting that his fame has not made it simpler to find a compatible partner.
Recently, the speculations about Wurtzbach relationship to the doctor were fueled by the photos uploaded on social media as two can be seen together.
The Miss Universe Wurtzbach is back in the Philippines for the coronation of the Bb. Pilipinas 2016 ending her reign as the Bb. Pilipinas-Universe on Sunday, April 17.
