Pokwang Slams Netizens’ Claim That Her Split with Husband is “Karma”
Kapuso comedienne Pokwang slammed the netizens claiming that her split-up with husband Lee O’brian is a bad “karma”.
The breakup of comedian Marietta Subong, often known as Pokwang, and her husband Lee O’Brian after more than seven years of dating is one of the issues now trending on social media. The divorce was verified by Ogie Diaz, a talent manager.
Pokwang also acknowledged what had occurred to him after Ogie stated that the comedian and the American actor had divorced. Pokwang was criticized by several online users for actively supporting the former vice president Leni Robredo during the campaign.
Even to the point of having someone charged with assaulting her. Some detractors claim that Pokwang’s “karma” for criticizing Robredo’s opponents is the reason for this. Pokwang, though, fires back at the online trolls on her Instagram account.
“Hindi po karma ang tawag dun nililinis ni God ang daanan ko patungo sa tamang tao! Ikaw kapag namatayan kaba ng kamag anak mo karma agad? Bakit may pinatay ba ako? G*g* ka?” Pokwang replied.
On the other hand, the comedian said that it was crucial that his relationship with Lee ended amicably. They are still collaborating to raise Malia, their four-year-old daughter, today.
