Why Pres. Rodrigo Duterte Was ‘No-Show’ During Isabelle’s Luxurious Debut?
Presidential granddaughter Isabelle Duterte is now officially a lady as she recently celebrated her 18th birthday through an extravagant debut party.
The said luxurious event was held at The Peninsula wherein it was surrounded by tight security.
However, what caught the attention and curiosity of many guests who were present there to witness the special day for the debutante, is the absence of her grandfather President Rodrigo Duterte.
It was mentioned in the article recently published on kami.com.ph, that the Chief Executive of the Philippines was ‘no-show’ during the most awaited day of Isabelle as a lady.
Obviously, as the Lolo, the President was invited to the said occasion but reportedly, he chose to go home to Davao City.
Staff from the Malacañang Palace previously informed the media men that President Duterte flew to Davao the night before the 18th birthday of his granddaughter.
On the other hand, the presence of the Presidential Security Groups around the premises of The Peninsula was quite obvious.
