Ricci Rivero admitted that he doesn’t prioritize his love life, knowing that he was currently focusing more on his basketball career.
“Not my priority po talaga ang magka-girlfriend eh,” Ricci Rivero told PUSH. “But if ever, simple lang naman ang gusto ko sa babae – yung God fearing and family oriented. It doesn’t matter din kung showbiz siya or non-showbiz.“
He added that he was not yet ready to have a commitment to someone.
“Medyo matagal nang wala. Parang simulanung naglaro ako for UAAP, wala na rin,” he said. “Choice ko din po, kasi siguro it’s hard din naman to give your commitment, to commit yourself to a girl pero hindi mo talaga siya maipa-prioritize kasi nga busy din, so mahirap din yon for her, so for me, baka magka-problem lang.“
He revealed that there were times that he can’t avoid those girls that showed their intentions to him.
“Parang ang bait-bait ko naman,” he added. “Pero kailangan po talagang makontrol, kasi if not… so you have to think twice or thrice.“
He also encountered that there were times that even gays offered him some presents, yet he said that it was “not a big deal” after all.
“Yeah, meron. Pero ako kasi, sobrang dami ko talagang friends na nasa part ng LGBT and it’s not a big deal talaga,” he shared. “Sila kasi yung sumusuporta din naman at nagpapaingay talaga especially sa iba’t ibang industry. Yeah, kailangan you have to deal with them also.“
When asked if there was an intention in posting his shirtless photos on his social media account, he answered, “Thankful ako nana-appreciate nila ako, na look up to me, and we have to accept the fact kung ano man yung napi-feel nila when they see those kinds of stuff.For me, yung mga pino-post ko is normal, it’s usual, it’s common naman. I don’t really post those kinds of stuff to trigger their emotion or desire.“
