Rita “Badjao Girl” Gaviola Reacts to Netizen Asking if She is Pregnant
The former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Rita Gaviola also known as “Badjao Girl” responded to a netizen asking if she is pregnant.
Gaviola explains what is the truth in the news in his Tiktok video. In the video, she also appears to have a male companion with whom she does not specify her relationship.
Some, however, believe that the man with her is Badjao Girl’s lover because their texts to each other are nice. Meanwhile, a netizen predicted her pregnancy in her comment section.
“Sana di too hula ko na buntis si idol. Mauna napo ako mag congrats jeje” commented by the netizen. Which she jokingly answered “Ahaha opo buntis ako sabi ng hula mo.”
Aviola rose to prominence in 2016 after being photographed begging at the Pahiyas Festival in Quezon Province. The innate beauty of Badjao Girl can be observed in the above photo, which is why many netizens and companies stepped in to support her.
Rita’s life has altered dramatically since then, and she now hopes to compete in the Miss Universe contest. Rita, commonly known as Badjao Girl, rose to fame after a photograph of her snapped by Topher Quinto Burgo at the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon, went viral on social media.
Then she became one of the lucky teen roommates of Pinoy Big Brother Season 7 on the TV show. Rita was only 13 years old at the time. Her family, which included her five other siblings, migrated from Zamboanga to Lucena City, Quezon, in the hopes of a better future.
