Robin Padilla Received Support Amid “Racist” Criticisms Through Englishman’s Open Letter

An Englishman released open letter for Robin Padilla following “racist” criticisms, commending him for being patriotic 

In the midst of being criticized due to his alleged “racist” remarks against a Korean contestant of ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’, Robin Padilla received a support from an Englishman.

The action star was recently bashed for telling the said foreigner aspiring star on PGT to speak in Filipino before he can talk to the him.

Based on a previous report, Robin did not regret saying those words to the Korean magician because it was just an appropriate thing to do.

On the other hand, behind all the bashing, the ‘Unexpectedly Yours’ actor had the support of many including an Englishman named Malcolm Conlan who is a known Filipino-by-heart.

According to a report of Pinoy Trending, Conlan released an open letter for the action movie actor on his Facebook account.

The Englishman commended the PGT judge for showing to the whole world an act of patriotism for his country.

Conlan also agreed to Robin that someone living in the Philippines for quite a long time should learn a little of the Filipino language if not that fluent.

In addition, the Englishman with a great love for the country of Pinoys said that Robin did not have a bad intention when he said those words to the Korean contestant.

“You are an incredible ambassador for the country and a much loved icon on Philippine cinema,” Conlan iterated on his open letter for the Kapamilya star.

The foreigner also thanked the Bad Boy of Philippine showbiz industry for his evident and undying support for the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.

For Conlan, what Robin did during the January 13 episode of the talent search was never a form of being racist.

He added that it was an act of being passionately outspoken.

The Englishman previously posted a video showing his opinion about the matter, based on the report.
