Korean actor Ryu Seung-Yong played the role in the said film as one of the detectives. Along with him were Lee Hanee, Lee Dong-hwi, Gong-Myoung, at Jin Sun-kyu.
The Extreme Job was first aired in Korean cinemas and went massive in the first part of 2019. After three days in cinemas, the said film surpassed the one million viewers mark.
This film garnered more than one million views “in the shortest period of time for a comedy film in Korea.” Also, on its fourth day in cinemas, the said film reached two million viewers and was considered as the “fastest comedy film to hit the 2 million mark.“
After 19 days, the said film became the “highest-grossing Korean comedy film of all-time” with 12,835,396 moviegoers in total. According to the Korean Film Council’s statistical report, the Extreme Job became the “second most-watched film in Korea of all time” with 14,536,378 moviegoers in total.
