Sherwin Gatchalian has officially issued his statement regarding the issues surrounding his girlfriend, actress and beauty queen Bianca Manalo. It was previously reported that alleged conversations involving the actor Rob Gomez surfaced on social media. However, Gatchalian, who initially chose not to comment on the matter, decided to address the controversy through a brief statement on his personal Instagram page on Saturday, December 23.
In his statement, Gatchalian expressed, “Bianca and I share the same values and principles in life. No fake news will separate us.” Alongside his statement were two framed photos of them, gifts from fellow Senator Sonny Angara and his wife.
Gatchalian also emphasized his love for their pet dogs, currently under the care of their house helper while their “mommy,” actress Bianca Manalo, is currently in Japan with her family.
Manalo and Gomez previously worked together on the GMA TV series “Magandang Dilag.” According to screenshots of their conversation that were initially shared and later removed from the actor’s social media accounts, the actress was seemingly asking Gomez to meet with her. Manalo explained that the purpose of their meeting was to receive Gomez’s Christmas gift. She further asserted that certain portions of their conversation were removed “to create malicious insinuations.”
Amidst the controversy, Gatchalian showcased his trust in Manalo and the strong foundation of their relationship. He emphasized that no fake news would undermine their love. Despite the challenges, Gatchalian continues to uphold his commitment to his relationship with Manalo, including the promise of navigating life’s journey together.
