Sorsogon Governor Hamor, Personally Requested Vice Ganda to Sing ‘Narda’ by Kamikazee

The eviction of Governor Edwin Hamor from the Kamikazee band became a significant controversy after they refused to grant the governor’s request to take a picture with the pride of Sorsogon, the blue roses. This resulted in their eviction and being sent back to the airport. Governor Hamor later apologized to the townspeople and promised to bring Vice Ganda to entertain the people of Sorsogon. He also clarified that the Kamikazee band had already been paid their talent fee.

A few days later, Vice Ganda posted his gratitude to the people of Sorsogon for welcoming him after his performance in the town. One part of the show went viral, where Vice Ganda incorporated Kamikazee’s song “Narda” into Taylor Swift’s “Love Story,” entertaining the audience and making them sing along to the song.

In a statement after his performance of “Narda,”

““Sabi ko sa inyo kakanta tayo ng mga awitin ng mga taong baka hindi muna makapunta dito. At kausap ko si Gov. Si Gov ang mismo nag-request n’yan,” Vice said.
“Sabi ni Gov, ‘Kantahin mo naman o’. Kahit kalahati, kahit hindi ko masyadong alam ang kanta, pinagbigyan ko na din. I love you, Gov!”

The people responded positively to Vice Ganda’s words, and their happiness during Vice’s performance in Sorsogon was evident.
