Former SexBomb dancer Sugar Mercado recently revealed that she had a 7-year relationship with popular TV host Willie Revillame. Mercado made this surprising confession during an interview with well-known talent manager and content creator Ogie Diaz.
In the interview, Sugar admitted that although she and Revillame were in a relationship, she wasn’t entirely sure if he considered it the same way. “Hindi ako sure (laugh). Hindi naman siya umamin eh (laugh). Ang kapal naman ng mukha ko kung aamin ako, hindi naman siya umamin di’ba? Edi hindi ako sure. Di’ba, mamaya nag-bonding lang kami,” she said, expressing uncertainty about whether Revillame would publicly acknowledge their relationship.
Ogie Diaz further pressed Mercado for confirmation, asking if they were indeed together for 7 years. Sugar responded with a clear, “Oo,” but she also expressed her hesitation about admitting it alone. “Hindi kasi siyempre nakakahiya naman kung ako lang yung ano [aamin] di’ba? Siyempre kababae kong tao, hindi ako mukhang babae. Siyempre may heart din ako,” she added.
Despite her reservations, Mercado made it clear that she never regretted her time with Revillame and admitted that she loved him deeply. “Alam mo naman siya pribado siya masyado and sabi ko nga never ako nagsisi sa lahat ng nangyari sa life ko. At aminado rin naman ako na minahal ko talaga ‘yung tao. Nang sobra pa,” she shared.
When asked by Ogie Diaz if she felt the same love from Revillame, Sugar confirmed, “Oo naman.” This heartfelt admission has stirred curiosity among fans, especially since Revillame has remained silent on the matter.
