Bandera columnist Alex Brosas slams the Kapuso soap operas in his latest write up in his column in the said tabloid.

According to the entertainment columnists the teleseryes of GMA network has a common denominator among them.

Most of them, if not all, has the theme of “women fighting against each other for a man”

His article has this title: “Teleserye ng GMA puro na lang agawan sa lalaki ang tema!”

Brosas then enumerated the soap operas of the Kapuso network with the said kind of theme as the story plot.

He first mentioned the TV series of Ryza Cenon and Sunshine Dizon which is titled ‘Ika-6 Na Utos’ whose characters are vying for the attention of the character of Gabby Concepcion.

Then he stated that it is the same plot as what ‘Kambal, Karibal’ has because the characters of Bianca Umali and Kyline Alcantara are fighting against each other to win the attention of Miguel Tanfelix’s character.

The same thing is happening with the soap opera of Mikael Daez, Megan Young and Katrina. The main characters in ‘Stepdaughters’ are also fighting for a man, according to Brosas.

His enumeration did not stop there because the TV series of Sanya Lopez and Rocco Nacino with Thea Tolentino ‘Haplos’ also tackles the same theme.

Those are not just the Kapuso soap operas with “women fighting against each other for a man” theme. According to the columnist, the recently launched ‘The One That Got Away’ TV series is greater of them all.

It is for the reason that the character of Dennis Trillo is been trying to win over by the characters of three women, Lovi Poe, Rhian Ramos and Max Collins.

“Na-realize kaya ‘yan ng mga taga-GMA, na puro agawan sa isang lalaki ang tema ng kanilang teleserye?” Alex Brosas asked this question in his article.
