Tawi-Tawi Pristine Blue Waters is Wonderful for Diving
Tawi-Tawi province is one of the most visited tourists spot here in the Philippines. Its pristine blue waters is known for its white sand and beaches, turquoise waters and a unique paradise that must be visit by explorers for its natural beauty.
The province has 307 archipelagic islands. Strong currents are known in the boundaries of Sulu-Celebes Sea. This is one of the reasons why scuba diver loves the spot.
The more plankton, the more active fish life caused by strong current in the sea that cause coral reef productivity. The Drift Dives of the divers is oriented from one point and will be drift by the current and the boat will pick them up.
Going down the Sanga-sanga reef crest has a depth of 12 meters. It was abundant of soft corals due to high currents exposure. A school of butterfly fish and long, thin trumpet fish were seen in the corals. Corals from reef crest have a multiple colors it was a kaleidoscope marine life,
In Simunul the beautiful turquoise waters are so inviting with the reef surrounding it. In the slope soft corals were abundant and the reefs there have harder cover than the corals in Sanga-sanga.
