The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has unveiled the official ratings for the 10 films participating in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023, serving as a helpful guide for viewers to select a national film suitable for families.
Every Christmas, it has become a tradition for Filipinos and the film industry to showcase various movies as part of the Metro Manila Film Festival, where participating films are honored in different categories. Here is the lineup of these films and their ratings based on the MTRCB’s assessment.
In the “General Audience” category, suitable for all viewers, the featured films include:
- FAMILY OF TWO (A Mother and Son Story) – Produced by Cineko Productions, starring Sharon Cuneta and Alden Richards.
- PENDUKO – Presented by Viva Communications Inc., featuring Matteo Guidicelli.
For the “Parental Guidance” category, requiring viewers aged 13 and below to be accompanied by a parent or supervising adult, the films are as follows:
- BECKY and BADETTE – Produced by Ideafirst Company Inc., with Eugene Domingo and Pokwang in the lead roles.
- BROKEN HEART’S TRIP – A creation of Smart Films Production OPC, starring Christina Bables and Jacklyn Jose.

In the “R-13” (Restricted Thirteen) category, not suitable for viewers aged 13 and below due to explicit content, the films are:
