Tres Kantos Lost: Bugoy’s Forgotten Lyrics

Tres Kantos failed to beat Power Chords after Bugoy Drilon forgot some lyrics during the performance.

Tres Kantos lost their chance to win in the real time singing competition We Love OPM after one singer, Bugoy Drilon, forgot the lyrics of the song they are singing.

Jovit Baldivino and Dominador Avoila were with Bugoy in the team. Eric Santos was their coach and they were tasked to sing one of Apo Hiking Society’s hit, Saan Na Nga Ba Ang Barkada Ngayon, and rendering the song in a reggae version.

Tres Kantos start-up really lit the face of the coaches and Apo Hiking Society‘s Jim Paredes who was the judge during the episode. The team never failed to give it a booming start-up which really wowed the audience and televiewers.

There were lyrics that the three shared while there were those that were divided individually and Bugoy, Jovit, and Dominador were given their individual lines during the performance.

Unexpectedly, when Bugoy was about to give his best shot on his part, what was heard over the speakers were repeated words which goes with ‘sorry’.

The performer forgot his line and tried not to break the performance by covering it up with repeated words in order to follow the tune still. He did it with his knee bent.

Nevertheless, the performance went on and it even amazed the coaches more that they were able to keep up.

According to Eric Santos, the team’s coach, the little mistakes committed by Bugoy never decreased even a bit the feeling of pride he has on his team.

He even added that the good thing about the team is that they continued their performance and gave it a very good end as a group hug gave a closing to their performance.
