The world has many languages, an even the same language have a different accent. English is known as the universal language that can speak everywhere where anybody can understand. But speaking of accent, many English speaking countries have different accent and pronunciation when it comes to speaking. Just like for example, one of your British friend asked, “Do you have a noif (knife)?” or “What is your woif’s (wife) maiden name?” It may be awkward for others to hear or speak like that but every accent has a reason behind and it reflects the culture of a person.
The next time we hear some people speaking with an unusual accent, try not to laugh because your language accent might be ridiculous to their hearings too.
