Lucy Torres, Ormoc representative, wore the barong tagalog of her husband, Richard Gomez, during the first State of the Nation Address of the 16th President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Previous reports have mentioned that the attendees of President Duterte’s first SONA were advised to come in business attire. Simplicity is being inculcated in the event as the 16th President is an epitome of living a simple life and being a simple type of person.
In line with this, a report in ABS-CBN News featured one of the most stunning attendees of the national event.
She captured attention as her beauty is still very visible even on a simple altered attire – Ormoc Rep. Lucy Torres wore her husbands old barong altered into Filipiniana style.
According to the report, Lucy has also shared in her Instagram account on Tuesday about what she did to her husbands old barong.
The model and Ormoc Representative which was a head-turner on the event said in her post that she asked Randy Ortiz, a local designer, to make changes on her husband’s old barong for it to fit her.
