How much will Dubai spend in building this hotel with own rainforest and aquarium?
Dubai is aiming to offer clients with a different experience, not only with a tall building but through amenities which is different from what others in the world can.
This will be the first hotel in the world with its own rainforest.
It seems that Dubai is not satisfied even it holds the title of world’s tallest building and the one-of-a-kind palm-shaped islands.
The five-star Rosemont Hotel & Residences will be coming to the desert city in 2018 and will reportedly cost £230m.
The Rosemont Hotel & Residences is the latest example of over-the-top luxury in the emirate, which has fast become a go-to destination for holidaymakers and a major hub for air travel between the West and Asia.
The man-made rainforest will be located inside a five-storey podium at the base of two 47-storey towers, and filled with exotic plants to make for a unique guest experience.
The in-door rainforest is designed with waterfalls, an artificial beach, a pool and legions of tropical plants.
The hotel will have 450 guest rooms and suites in a tower that will also have a lobby on the 26th floor, an upper-floor pool that extends over the edge of the building, fine dining, VIP lounge, spa and meeting rooms.
To add to the thrill, the hotel also has a pool that extends beyond its edge, where guest can enjoy the Dubai skyline while relaxing in the water.
The 47-storey hotel will also have a bowling alley, adventure play area for children and trampoline park, according to the firm in charge of the project, ZAS Architects. There’s even been talk of “robotic luggage handlers”.
Other family-friendly amenities include an adventure play area for children, a bowling alley and trampoline park.
The attraction will cater to families thanks to its artificial beach and pool, and is said to be the first rainforest in the Middle East.
