Here is the list of long weekends in the Philippines for the year 2019 based on the declaration from Malacañang

Filipinos have the reason to be happy after several days of work because of the declaration from Malacañang regarding the long weekends this 2019.

One can plan an early vacation with family and friends to unwind in different relaxing venues in the country during #WalangPasok days.

Based on the official document from Malacañang Palace, here are the long weekends for the year 2019.

Feb. 5 – Chinese New Year
Long Weekend: Saturday, February 2 to Tuesday, February 5

Feb. 25 – EDSA Anniversary
Long Weekend: Saturday, February 23 to Monday, February 25

April

Apr. 9 – Araw ng Kagitingan
Long Weekend: Saturday, April 6 to Tuesday, April 9

Apr. 18 – Maunday Thursday
Apr. 19 – Good Friday
Apr. 20 – Black Saturday
Long Weekend: Thursday, April 18 to Sunday, April 21

August

Aug. 12 – Eidul Adha
Long Weekend: Saturday, August 10 to Monday, August 12

Aug. 26 – National Heroes Day

Note: 

Dates of Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha are still tentative. National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) will declare the official dates, according to the proclamation.

All in all, there are 10 long weekends in 2019. As early as now, you can plan ahead your leave and vacations.
