4-Minute video entailed the main focus of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte who just delivered his first State of the Nation Address yesterday at Batasang Pambansa, July 25, 2016.
A video posted in the Facebook page of ABS-CBN News condensed the plans and targets of the Duterte administration as mentioned by the 16th President in his first SONA. In the video, the major points were given emphasis.
According to the President, his administration won’t stop until the last illegal drug pusher will be put behind the bars or below the ground. He warned everyone not to do drugs.
He was also vocal of human rights in his first address. He sees it with a link in uplifting human dignity but he made a clear statement that human rights can never be used as a shield or an excuse for someone to destroy the country.
With regards to the disputed island, the West Philippine Sea, the President vowed to pursue a peaceful resolution and management of the country’s disputes.
Promoting peace in the Philippines, President Duterte announced ceasefire with the CPP, NPA, and NBF.
