Ryan Lochte has become controversial after caught lying during the Rio Olympics.
American swimmer Ryan Lochte happily announced in social media that he is engaged with Playboy model girlfriend Kayla Rae Reid.
In the Instagram account of the 12-time Olympic medalist, he shared a picture of him kissing Reid but what really caught the attention of the many is the huge diamond ring in her finger.
The 32 year old Lochte made his marriage proposal in the middle of sunset, with the Malibu, California beach in sight.
Lochte posted their photo with a caption saying, “Memories forever!!! #thelochtes #LA”.
Meanwhile, the Playboy playmate also shared on her Instagram account the same picture taken from a different angle with a caption, “Speechless. Absolutely beautiful. So in love with YOU”.
The newly-engaged couple met each other in a club in Los Angeles in January 22 and dated three days after.
Lochte earlier said that he and Kayla have been in good terms when she went to Rio and visited the Olympian at the height of the 2016 Summer Olympics.
She even tagged Lochte as her “favorite person ever” and “silver fox”.
