Book Promoting The Tubbataha Reefs Released By DOT

DOT released its first ever coffee table book which exposes the beauty of the Tubbataha Reef.

A coffee table book was recently released by the Department of Tourism (DOT) to showcase the beauty of the Tubbataha Reefs, which is located in Puerto Princesa City in the province of Palawan.

The coffee table book entitled, “Tubbataha: A National Treasure”, featured breathtaking photographs of the reef, which lies in the middle of the Sulu Sea, taken by Maria Teresa “Tet” Lara.

It was published by Marissa Floirendo of the Don Antonio O. Floirendo Sr. Foundation (AOF).

None other than Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo presented the coffee table book during the sidelines of the World Travel Market held at the ExCel Convention Center in London, in early November.

Secretary Teo said that the coffee table book is also positioning the Philippines as one of the diving hubs in the world.
