Swimwear presentation of Miss Universe 2016 will be held at the Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark Cebu in Lapu-Lapu City.
Arthur Lo confirmed to the media that Lapu Lapu resort in Cebu City will host the Swimwear presentation of Miss Universe 2016.
According to Arthur Lo, the hotel’s corporate liaison officers confirmed the news that the venue for the swimwear event of Miss Universe will be held at the Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark Cebu in Lapu-Lapu City.
Lo shared that the decision is final, the resort ould spend more than $1 million for the improvements of the hotel to host the Miss Universe 2016 swimwear event.
According to a recent news report of Inquirer.net, Justin Uy, chairman and president of Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark Cebu, said that through the prestigious event, Cebu would be showcased as a premiere destination.
“This is not solely for the company but we are doing this for Cebu to put the island on the map again and to erase negative remarks about us,” said Uy.
