Supreme Court Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno said that the oral arguments will be continued on September 7, Wednesday, at 10 in the morning.
The oral arguments on the proposed burial of former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (LNMB, Heroes’ Cemetery) which was started on Wednesday, August 31, will be continued on exactly a week later.

The first oral arguments closed with Sereno issuing a directive to the Office of the Solicitor General to secure a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by former Pres. Fidel V. Ramos and the family of the late dictator which is concerned on bringing the corpse of Marcos back to the Philippines.
Marcos died in Hawaii but it was reported that the wake was in Guam from where the corpse was flown straight to the Philippines.
Earlier, former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Rafael Alunan presented a copy of the MOU but the high court wanted the original copy.
