After haunting at least 20 states in the US, these creepy clowns have reached the United Kingdom and Australia.
While clowns were supposed to be making children attending a birthday party happy and entertained, creepy clowns have spread over the United States, and even some parts of Australia and United Kingdom, leaving people freezing scared and hysterical.
These creepy clowns – individuals masked and dressed as clowns, whether stationary on a side walk or come running after people – have spread fear and hysteria in more than 20 states in the US, and there were also reports on roaming creepy clowns over the United Kingdom and Australia.
Though the Victorian police would not reveal where creepy clowns sightings have been reported but they guarantee that any antisocial behaviors will be investigated as “clown purge” groups appear in some parts of Australia, including Melbourne.
The creepy clowns started to make news with their craze by trying to lure children into the woods in the US state of South Carolina.
Many groups have already launched mass clown hunts to arrest these creepy clowns who, they believe, intend not only to scare but also to do more harm to children and people.
“The clown purge appears to be a copycat of incidents being seen in the USA recently”, a statement from Victoria police said.
