Three members of the Maute Group were pointed to be the suspects in the Davao Night Market blast on late September 2 evening.
Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana confirmed that the suspects in the Davao Night Market blast on late September 2 evening, were arrested on Tuesday.
On Friday afternoon, Lorenzana, along with ranking defense and military officials, led the presentation of three members of the Maute Group who are responsible of the bombing of the Davao Night Market which left 14 people lifeliess and more than 60 wounded.
The suspects were identified as TJ Tagadaya Macabalang, Wendel Apostol Facturan and Musali Mustapha, who were nabbed at a checkpoint on-board a motorcycle last October 4 in Cotabato City.
Macabalang is the alleged triggerman who made the phone call that denoted the improvised explosive device (IED), while Facturan is the alleged the bomb courier who sat on the chair and put the backpack containing the IED in the Davao Night Market, and Mustapha is said to be the person who took the video of the incident.
