Diokno Announces Giving Of 20-Kilos Of Rice Monthly To Uniformed Public Servants

Benjamin Diokno confirmed that men and women in uniform will be receiving 20-kilos of rice per month.

DIOKNO – A non-salary benefit in the form of 20 kilos of rice every month will be given to men and women in service under the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Philippine’s Coast Guard.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has been very vocal in his promise to the men and women in uniform that he will find ways to increase the benefits that they are receiving – that includes doubling their salaries.

In line with his promise of additional benefits to the specified public servants, Benjamin Diokno, budget secretary, affirmed the 20 kilos of rice to be given every month to each men or women in uniform. It is reported in Phil Star Global.

Thousands will be the beneficiaries of the 20 kilos of rice every month. The beneficiaries are the 130,000 servicemen of AFP; 150,000 in the PNP; 22,729 from the Bureau of Fire Protection and 8,835 from the Philippine’s Coast Guard.
