Duterte Made Public Apology For Naming Pangasinan Solon In Narco-list

The president said he has no pride to not admit his mistake and said that his “sorry” came from the heart.

President Rodrigo Duterte made a public apology to Pangasinan Rep. Amado Espino for naming him as part of the narco-list, a list containing names of personalities involved in the illegal drug trade in the Philippines.

The president made the public apology to Espino during his inspection in an alleged ‘met’ laboratory in Lacquios, Arayat, Pampanga on September 27, Tuesday afternoon.

According to Duterte, he has no pride not to admit his mistakes and ask for an apology. He insisted that his “sorry” to the former governor came from the bottom of his heart.

According to Pres. Duterte, although Espino’s name has repeatedly surfaced in the reports submitted by the Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), he just cannot see the link or connection to pin down Espino in the illegal drug trade.

Just recently, Duterte said that he wants the third and final narco-list re-validated after seeing some of his friends’ names included.
