President Duterte refers to the late dictator’s presidency as reason for his interment at LNMB.
DUTERTE REFERS – Despite ongoing oppositions towards the interment of the late dictator at Libingan ng mga Bayani, still President Rodrigo Roa Duterte stands firm in his decision for allowing it.
Years were not able to put down the issue with regards to the interment of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Each side continues to push further for the veracity of their proofs on their claims.
One giant issue that is being debated upon is Marcos Sr.’s being a soldier. Many have conducted investigations on it and results showed that his movement was not recognized by the United States.
The prime reason aired out by the President on why he gave a go signal on the late dictator’s interment at the resting ground for heroes and presidents is that Marcos Sr. ‘was a soldier’.
After several disproving the claim of FM’s being a soldier before, still the President stand firm in his decision and submits the further proceedings to the Supreme Court.
