Rasay earned praises for her hand-painted gown and during the talent portion.
She represented the country at the Princess of the World 2016 after she was crowned as the Princess of the Philippines last January.

According to Rasay, she gained a lot of friends after joining the competition, adding that she was even invited to visit her friends outside the country.
Rasay’s mother Ritchel also said that it has been her dream to become a model and she is also willing to support her.
However, her mother also reminded her to study first so she can do whatever she want in life.
“Mag-aral lang muna siya… Magtapos siya ng pag-aaral para kung ano ‘yung gusto niyang gawin, magagawa niya,” she said.
Furthermore, Ritchel thanked the people who supported her daughter during the pageant.
Elysha Rasay will represent the country again in another beauty contest that will be held in Paris, France in May next year.
