A fact-finding team was formally organized by the Supreme Court to investigate the alleged illegal drug involvement of four trial court judges named by Pres. Duterte.
The Supreme Court of the Philippines has formally assigned SC associate justices to compose the fact-finding team whose mission is to investigate the four trial court judges included in the first narco-list of President Rodrigo Duterte.
It can be recalled that the president, upon reading his long narco-list, named Judge Exequil Dagala of the Municipal Trial Court of Dapa-Socorro in Surigao; Adriano Savillo, Regional Trial Court Branch 30 of Iloilo City; Domingo Casiple of RTC branch 7 in Kalibo, Aklan and Judge Antonio Reyes of RTC Branch 61 in Baguio City.
The high court then advised the Malacañan Palace that they can now a formal complaint against the said incumbent court judges.
“The Court today resolved to direct executive secretary Salvador C. Medialdea to submit complaint affidavits against four judges within seven days, furnishing the respondent judges with a copy of the same”, stated the Supreme Court resolution.
The resolution was read by Supreme Court spokesperson Theodore Te on Wednesday, September 21.
