First Message Of Duterte To Muslim Holiday: ‘Real change requires the sacrifice of our personal interest’

FIRST MESSAGE – Pres. Rodrigo ‘Rody’ Duterte gave his first message on the Muslim holiday, Eid’l Adha.

A recent news report in Phil Star Global stated the message of encouragement and aspirations of Pres. Duterte.

Based on the report, the President emphasized the value of the celebration that is considered a holiday today in the country. Further, he also stressed of the ‘common good’.

“Let this celebration stand as a reminder that real change requires the sacrifice of our personal interest in favor of the common good of our citizens,” the 71-year-old President entailed in his message.
