Malaysia is eyed to be the next country to build stronger ties with China following the footsteps of Philippine Pres. Duterte.

FOLLOWING – Malaysia is seen as the next country to build a stronger relationship with China after Philippine Pres. Rodrigo ‘Rody’ Duterte spearheaded the move to warm the relationship between PH and the Chinese community.

The ties between Philippines and China was undeniably challenged by the territorial dispute over the West Philippine Sea. Having became an international concern, the Arbitral Tribunal was the one who gave the verdict on it.

The verdict of the Arbitral Tribunal sided on the Philippines as the owner of the disputed islands – a result not fully honored by the Chinese nation.

Nevertheless, under the governance of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, the PH-China ties has warmed up once again – his recent state visit in Beijing, China being the proof as he went home a lot of foreign investment projects.
