Imee Marcos expressed the side of her family in the on-going issue on the interment of the late dictator.
IMEE MARCOS – The daughter of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr., Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, expressed an act of pleading for forgiveness of her father’s mistakes.
A recent news report in Inquirer stated that the daughter of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. expressed an act of asking forgiveness to the people and the side of the Marcos family on the on going issue of her father’s interment.
Based on the report, the Ilocos Norte Governor said in Filipino during the last day of the birthday celebration of Marcos Sr., “Whatever sins my father committed—he was, after all, human who made mistakes—I hope people absolve him.”
Further, Imee also emphasized her hope that despite everything, the people will find forgiveness in their hearts to ease out the madness and as well as to finally have peace.
