LAWIN LEAVES – One of the most visited places in Benguet, the strawberry farm in La Trinidad, has not been exempted from Typhoon Lawin.
Baguio City which is a place near Benguet is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the country for its cool atmosphere and for delicious and fresh strawberries. Aside from Baguio City, Benguet, a nearby place to it, is also known for strawberries.
Usually, when a tourist comes to Baguio City, going to Benguet is also a part of the trip. La Trinidad, Benguet has a strawberry farm which sells the fruit in cheaper price and the buyers can even go around to pick some strawberries to be purchased.
Aside from the strawberry farm in the wide land, tourists can also buy souvenir items on the small stores near the farm. There are also strawberry jams and pineapple jams sold in the area that are ready for ‘pasalubong’.
