Leni Robredo’s viral love story is fake, according to netizens.
Netizen dismissed Vice President-elect Leni Robredo’s love story as fake. This was after a viral post claimed that Leni Robredo was married to a leftist before re-married the late Jesse Robredo.
According to netizens, the story is indeed fake. They also said that the alleged wedding photo of Robredo with an unknown guy was taken from a certain Facebook user named Jenielson Canlas.
Netizens said that Canlas used the photo to greet his parents Daniel and Jennet Canlas on their 25th wedding anniversary on the social media site.
Some netizens also said that the woman partially looks like Leni Robredo, but it was not her.
On Saturday, a viral Facebook post claimed that Leni Robredo was a widow before she married the late Jesse Robredo.
According to the Facebook post, Robredo was married to an “unknown poor guy from Cebu City.”
The post added that her alleged beau was an active supporter of the leftist group during the time of former president Ferdinand Marcos.
It was also said that her partner was among the people who lost their lives during the Martial Law.
“You’d be surprised to discover this Maria Leonor Gerona Robredo, also known as Leni Robredo was married to this unknown poor guy from Cebu City.”
