Meanwhile, outgoing senator Pia Cayetano is one of the netizens who reacted to the reported catcalling of Duterte to the veteran journalist in a press conference in Davao City last Tuesday, May 31, 2016.

Meanwhile, several journalist have gave their reaction over the catcalling incident of Mariz Umali.

Umali herself had earlier aired her statement on the controversy and according to her, she is not expecting an apology from the tough-talking politician.

“It may have been improper for a president-elect but, of course, we will continue to do our job and we are not expecting any apology from him personally,” she said in a statement she released via News To Go over an interview with Kara David.

Raffy Tima, Umali’s husband also gave his sentiments with regards to the reported catcalling and also fellow journalist Cesar Apolinario Jr. earlier gave his insight to the issue.
