Just take your time, kahit mga 100 years pa yan, ikaw ang bahala.

With this, many netizens agreed to his point of view regarding coming out of the open when it comes to sexual preference.

There were also those who lauded Paolo Ballesteros for expressing his views about this sensitive issue.

Here are some of the top comments from netizens.

“This is true, not just about the lgbtq but about life in general. If sasabihin mo na naging ganyan ka (adik, bakla, tomboy, magnanakaw or any untoward behavior) or nangyari yan sayo because naimpluwensyahan ka lang, then you are not creating your own path, you are not living your own life. You only become a shadow of someone who influenced you because gumayagaya ka lang kaya ka naging ganyan. We have our own rights and decisions to make in life. We should not be bound by the opinions of other people. Be true to yourself. Just as what Jesse J said:
Don’t lose who you are in the blur of the stars!
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It’s okay not to be okay.
Sometimes it’s hard to follow your heart.
Tears don’t mean you’re losing, everybody’s bruising,
Just be true to who you are!” – Pater AJ
– Anita Arevalo
