Philippine’s economy was reported to have secured one of top ranks, but Filipinos claim they can’t feel it.
PHILIPPINE’S ECONOMY – The economy of a country is one of the major basis of its progress. Philippines is reported to have a fast growing one but the citizens can’t feel it.
Countries that are considered progressive are the ones with fast growing economies. In a more concrete sense, a country that has secured top ranks in the list of countries’ economy growth is definitely perceived to be in a stable state.
But is this notion applicable in the Philippines after it was reported in Inquirer that among the countries in Asia, Philippines either secures the top or second top slot when it comes to economy growth?
According to Lisa Grace S. Bersales, the national statistician, the economy of the Philippines raised by 7% in the last three months of the former administration headed by former Pres. Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III.
