In barelyn three months since the anti-drug campaign of the PNP started, the PNP declares drug supply increased 80 to 90 percent.
Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa proudly declared that there has been a great downfall on the supply of illegal drugs in the country since the intensified war against drugs was launched by the government.
The anti-drug campaign was intensified by the PNP concurrently with the assumption of President Rodrigo Duterte as the sixteenth president of the Philippines.
According to Dela Rosa, about 80 to 90 percent of downfall of drug supply has been recorded by the PNP because of their campaign under Oplan Double Barrel has been enforced since July 1.
He added that because of the same campaign, the entry of prohibited substances has also been detered and stuck which made the supply deplete very rapidly.
Dela Rosa proudly said, having lesser, if not the least, of supply, the number of drug personalities also decreased and gradually, a safer community and the absence of fear among the people is starting to materialize.
