The president emphasized that he shall remain a hardliner against illegal drugs and does not care about the conflicts in between the senators.
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte reiterated that he shall remain a “hardliner” in his administration’s war against illegal drug proliferation in the Philippines and this is what he shall always care for.
This is despite of the conflicts arising in between the senators during and after the inquiry held by the Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights which focused on the extrajudicial killings that have been rampant since Duterte assumed office.
Duterte emphasized that he does not care even if the Congress, particularly the Senate, shall hold a thousand more hearings, because he shall continue to fulfill his promise that he shall not stop until the last drug lord in the country is neutralized.
He further said that it is up to the members of the Congress if they shall quarrel or argue with each other in the course of the hearings, and even to continue with their “drama”, but there is no one who can stop his agenda to fight corruption and criminality.
“I will not stop until the last pusher in the streets or on the streets are fully exterminated. I will not stop until I shall have. Patayin ko talaga yung mga drug lords (I will really kill the drugs lords). Make no bones about it”, he said.
