Richard Gomez denied the allegation and called it as “Ridiculous.”
Actor and Ormoc Mayor Richard Gomez responded to the allegation against him that he was linked in the so-called “Espinosa Drug Group.”
In a recent news report from ABS-CBN news, Richard Gomez sent a text statement to the network saying, he will not dignify the claims.
This was after he was tagged by Chief Inspector Leo Laraga, that he is involved in the illegal drug dealings of Espinosa.
Laraga made the claim at a Senate inquiry into Espinosa’s death by saying,
“That was the statement of Mayor Espinosa himself. Espinosa said those names during a conference,” Laraga said.
Gomez, denied the allegation and said “that is ridiculous and outright laughable.”
Gomez sent this text message to ABS-CBN saying that he will not dignify claims with an answer,
“That is ridiculous and outright laughable. I will not even dignify that with an answer huwag nila akong isama sa circus nila!” said Gomez
