Rody Says ‘I have nothing to apologize for because you know, the law is the law’

Pres. Rody says that he has nothing to apologize.

RODY SAYS – Pres. Rodrigo ‘Rody’ Duterte clarified matters with regards to his stand on Mary Jane Veloso’s case and the on-going reports that he gave a go-signal on it.

A recent news report in Phil Star Global stated that Pres. Rody Duterte cleared out that he has nothing to ask sorry on his stand on Veloso’s case in Indonesia, “I’m sorry. I have nothing to apologize for because you know, the law is the law.”

The report also mentioned that asking clemency for Veloso would be a distress for the President as he referred it as it would leave a  “bad taste in the mouth”.

To some the stand of the President does not go unexpected as he has always been known as someone who takes drug matters with a very serious tone.
