The Sandiganbayan reset the pre-trial of graft charges against Enrile because of unfinished marking of evidence.
The Sandiganbayan once again reset the pre-trial of Former Senator Juan Ponce Enrile in connection to charges of plunder and graft filed against him.
The pre-trial was originally scheduled on October 24, Monday, but the prosecution asked for the resetting of the preliminary conference to the third division of the anti-graft court because they need more time for the marking of evidence.
According to the prosecution, there are still 19 folders of documents regarding plunder and graft charges against Enrile that need to be marked.
The Sandiganbayan set the pre-trial on June 26, 2017 or eight months from now.
During the pre-trial, both parties would prepare for the conduct of the trial proper, including the marking of exhibits, stipulation of facts, identification of issues, and identification of the number of dates that each party need for the presentation of evidence.
