Sen. Trillanes reacts on the President’s ‘separation’ with United States.
TRILLANES REACTS – Sen. Antonio Trillanes III recently aired out his side on Pres. Rodrigo ‘Rody’ Duterte’s announcement of the Philippines’ cutting ties with United States.
Undeniably, a lot were surprised on the recent announcement of Pres. Duterte in front of the Chinese and Filipino businessmen when he announced on the ‘separation’ of the Philippines from United States.
Philippine and United States have been in an alliance for so many years. Before the announcement made by the President, he has already been vocal on his dislike on certain matters with regards to the alliance.
One of the matters is the war games by the US and Filipino troops which he did not see as beneficial to the Pinoy soldiers.
The US Embassy has released a video justifying the need for such matter – citing the Yolanda incident wherein American troops were there assisting the Filipinos affected by the typhoon.
