Pres. Duterte left the troops with some advices on coming to a battle to defend the country.
TROOPS – Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte got away from his tough-talking figure as he gives advices to the soldiers at Camp Capinpin, Tanay, Rizal.
The usual scene in a battle are haggard soldiers who are adrenaline-rushed to defend their state. They often come with an appearance that connotes days of not having enough sleep, rest, and without the chance to even take a bath.
In contrary to the plebeian scenario, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte has given positive advices to the soldiers at Tanay during his talk as reported by Phil Star Global.
The commander-in-chief wanted his soldiers to look and smell good in going to a battle to defend the state.
“Do not go to war na hilamos lang (just washing your face). Magpagwapo kayo. Look good, smell good, fight good so you can be a very good Filipino soldier,” he said to the soldiers.
