An anime video clip featuring how Duterte became the 16th president of the Philippines.
An anime video clip featuring President Rodrigo Duterte has been dominating the news feeds and now holds internet supremacy since it was launched.
The clip entitled “El Presidente” runs one minute and 28 seconds and depicts Duterte’s rise to presidency. It was produced by Bisayaball and Davao Nikkei Jin Anime Club.
It also showed the preview of the longtime Davao City mayor’s simple lifestyle in his own hometown.
In the video, the animated Duterte was seen riding a motorcycle in his usual attire, facing three towering monsters trying to scare him in his brave campaign against criminality but they just could not stop him.
A part also showed him being interviewed by the members of media outside of his house in Davao. He was sitting in a monoblock chair wearing only casual clothes and slippers as he was supposed speaking casually, in a very natural manner, while he answers the questions.
